According to the Turkish Building Earthquake Regulation \n(TBDY) 2018 (Table 1), \nall residential buildings in our country;<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

BKS=3<\/strong> and the building is constructed with a Building Importance Factor I=1, and static and seismic calculations are performed accordingly. This means that in the event of the largest possible earthquake, structures may sustain damage and become unusable, but the building will remain standing without collapsing and will be designed to prevent loss of life.<\/p>

BKS=1<\/strong> and no damage from earthquakes is expected in buildings constructed with a Building Importance Factor I=1.5. These structures continue to function after an earthquake.<\/p>

In the static calculations for the \u201cBo\u011faz \u00c7aml\u0131ca\u201d project, the earthquake calculation was performed using BKS=1 and Building Importance Factor I=1.5.<\/p>
